Youngest Provincial Board Member aspirant Alfonso "Ae" Damalerio II kicks-off his campaign sorties yesterday in 9 barangays of Catigbian and barangay Cabawan, Maribojoc.

The young Damalerio joined Cong. Edgar Chatto, Gov. Erico Aumentado and Vice Governor Juluis Herrera who also attended the Civic Action progaram w/ DILG.

Re-electionist Mayor Bert Salinas and municipal officials led the inauguration, grounbreaking and blessing of various development projects in at least (8) eight barangays including farm to market roads rehabilitation, waterworks expansion system and OTOP livelihood center.

These barangays include Ba-ang, Alegria, Mantacida, Kauswagan, Maitum, Kang-iras, Bongbong, Poblacion and Triple Union.

During his speech before a huge crowd at the New Catigbian Livestock and Auction Center, Damalerio stressed that the various projects in Catigbian is a product of teamwork with the LGU, Provincial and National Government Agencies.

Damalerio who used to work as Chatto's trusted Political Affairs officer has been a witnessed on how the young solon and the Salinas-Concon administration transformed the town into a more progressive municipality.

Damalerio also met barangay officials led by its president Peloy Patolilic during the Joint meeting with the Provincial and Municipal Peace and Order Council yesterday. Gov Aumentado also lauded the town officials for their programs in the area of Agriculture. Cong.Chatto for his part vowed to support his commitment to the people of Catigbian in addressing the various infrastructure projects including the completion of Balilihan- Catigbian to Tubigon concreting project.

The young Damalerio is the son of the late Senior Board member and Majority Floorleader AL Damalerio and the late Annie Rafols Damalerio. His political roots is from Calape were his great grandfather, Alfonso I became the first Municipal mayor. His grandfather served as Municipal Councilor while his Uncle the late Arsenio Damalerio also became the town Mayor during the 1970's.
